Recipe: German Pancakes & Buttermilk Syrup


















German Pancakes

· 1 cup flour

· 1 cup milk

· 1/2 teaspoon salt

· 6 eggs


1. Beat together.

2. Melt 1 tablespoon melted butter in 9x13 pan. Pour batter into pan.

3. Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes.


Syrup


· 1 1/2 cups sugar

· 2 teaspoons corn syrup

· 3/4 cups buttermilk

· 1/2 cup butter

· 1 teaspoon baking soda


1. Stir all together constantly at a light boil for 7 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and add 2 teaspoons vanilla.
